About Us
We work towards the development of the coir sector.
Tamil Nadu government has set up Tamil Nadu Coir Business Development Corporation, TANCOIR – a section 8, not for profit organisation to facilitate an inclusive growth of coir sector of the state through promotion of value-addition and quality enhancement in manufacturing. TANCOIR was inaugurated on 25.08.2022 with a seed capital of Rs. 5 crores with headquarters at Coimbatore.

Through all the above initiatives, TANCOIR is steadily proogressing into becoming the nodal agency for the coir sector in the state of Tamil Nadu.
HOW CAN WE HELP
How can we help
TANCOIR is the organisation formed for the welfare of the coir MSMEs of the state of Tamil Nadu. We dedicate ourselves to their growth and inclusive development. We work in the following verticals majorly.
TANCOIR assists the coir MSMEs through providing marketing assistance. We support through both buying and selling support. We do this capitalising our vast network of both local and outside buyers and sellers.
TANCOIR organises and conducts various workshops, trainings, and knowledge sharing sessions for the coir MSMEs regularly in a vast array of topics. These programs help the MSMEs to stay up to date on their technical and experiential knowledge of the coir industry.
We at TANCOIR do various activites that facilitate the business growth and development for the coir MSMEs. These include assistance to participate in varied expos and trade shows, implementation of government schemes, liasoning to the government for the coir MSMEs etc.,
